BIO

Annie Schumann or Annie Moore is a descendant of the famous composer Robert Schumann and spent much of her childhood in Leipzig, the same city where Schumann once lived and worked. True to her musical heritage, she grew up immersed in the arts, playing the saxophone and piano and singing from an early age on.

She later moved to New York City to study acting at the New York Film Academy under Blanche Baker, daughter of Oscar-winning actress Carroll Baker. Annie also trained in voice at the prestigious Juilliard School in it's Evening Division, where she later returned as a guest lecturer. She was featured as the face of Juilliard’s catalogue campaign for two consecutive years.

Annie produced and starred in a successful show about Marlene Dietrich, called "The Berlin Girl" with the goal of building a cultural bridge between Germany and the United States. She has performed at renowned venues including The Cutting Room NYC, the Triad Theatre NYC, and several locations along Fifth Avenue. The record tied to this project was produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Gary Schreiner and Dave Kowalski.

After a brief time in Los Angeles studying songwriting at UCLA with Marty Panzer, best known for writing "Through the Years" for Kenny Rogers and contributing to The Lion King 2, Annie Moore decided to focus on her career as a Singer-Songwriter. She moved to Nashville, where she has been co-writing with established Songwriters while continuing to teach voice.

Known for her distinctive voice and creative versatility, Annie is committed to continually developing her craft. She now records and produces vocals in her home studio and writes songs for clients around the world. Her work spans genres and audiences, from German rap artists to Broadway productions in New York. Most recently, she co-wrote "Stars of Chile," the title track of the musical of the same name, in collaboration with iconic dancer Sue Samuels at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City.
